Did you want to test your characters? Do you want something that you can use for an RP sample without digging up an old thread? Well, here you have it. Pick one or multiple prompts below or, if you want, make a prompt of your own. Just be sure to tag around so that everyone gets plenty of exposure.

1: Explosions in space! Space Bandits attacked the space colony everyone was visiting! Dozens of fighters and mobile armors fly through space, locked in deadly combat. Are you among those battling to save lives? Or are you watching from the windows, praying everything will be safe?

2: Explosions underground! You were part of a trading party, exchanging supplies with an underground penal colony when alien animals burrowed through the walls and started assaulting convict and Confederation member alike! What are you going to do?

3: Explosions over the city! The Colosseum is shooting off fireworks as part of a concert or a sporting event! Are you watching in the crowd, a main attraction, or watching the bright colors from the city?

4: Explosions on an asteroid! You're either observing, guarding, or mining an asteroid! It's rather dull, save for the explosions that rock the ground under your feet. It looks like it'll continue to be just as slow, but... was that something moving in the shadows there?

5: Explosions on a space station! As you approached a research station, you receive a distress signal! Fire's broken out and their systems aren't up to spec! Can you do anything? Are you a part of a scouting crew or out for a joyride in your new yacht? And is this an accident, or something more sinister?

6: Explosions at the gym! Explosive competition! Swimming, weightlifting, running, boxing, someone has just challenged you! Whether they know it or not, you're going to do your best to show them up.

7: Explosions in the past! A star has died! The Fleet is flying through the nebula it left behind, with swirls of beauty as far as the eye can see. If you're the type, you can watch it all you like.

8: Explosions on the road! Most of the traffic on the Teuberg is computer controlled, but some young showoff took his off the grid and promptly caused a wreck! Traffic has been backed up for almost half an hour now, with no way out for you and the people in your vehicle. Are you close enough to see if anyone needs help? Or are you just stuck with people who are as late for their appointments as you are?

9: Explosions in the marketplace! Explosive bargains! You're in a trading hub, surrounded by stalls of all kinds selling every type of merchandise you can imagine! Luckily, you've got enough money to handle a few purchases here. Will you buy one of those daggers on display? An incense burner? Some alien fruit? Or maybe you're on the run from the corrupt guards? Or perhaps you're the one doing the chasing, did someone just steal your wallet?

10: Explosions in your mind! The explosive inspiration that drives this world! Make up your own prompt!

[Well... Pinoko has been all over the place. She is a nurse. And when she sees people curled up, looking like a ball of misery, the first thing she does is try and help.

Too bad she's not Doctor Black Jack, Cloud! Then she might be able to offer you a new set of inner ears (and all that entails) for a huge sum of money!

But that doesn't keep her from slowly approaching the miserable looking man. He's a mess. Even if it's something Pinoko can't fix, she can at least offer emotional support... right?]

Um... Are you all right? Are you not feeling well? Pinoko is a nurse. I might be able to help with... whatever is going on with you.

[ ...No, no, that's probably for the best. Risky elective surgeries don't tend to turn out well for him. (Whether or not they're really light on the elective bit.)

And neither does any kind of fast, even occasionally bumpy, closed-in transport, apparently. He almost misses the trucks and the airships and the... Well, he definitely misses having a definitive idea of where the ground is supposed to be.

Huddled over, hugging his stomach, waiting out the dizziness and the nausea and the uncomfortable certainty that he'll probably throw up if he has to move another foot before one of the former ends - Cloud isn't doing a lot to stay out of sight, but he's still noticeably surprised when someone actually chooses to speak to him. Even if it's just-- A little girl? He lifts his head a little, used to having a helmet to hide beneath but now with only his choppy bangs to mask the miserable look on his face.

(A nurse...?) Maybe she's just playing pretend. ]

N-No. I'm okay. You should... Probably catch up to whoever you're with.

[Cloud, for your sake, please do not call Pinoko a little girl. That will not end well for either of you. At the very least it will end up with you getting an earful from this tiny girl. She had a very strong set of lungs.

As it was, she knelt down so that they were closer to eye level. She looked sympathetic at least.]

Pinoko's not with anyone. What's wrong? You look like sick. If you're going to throw up, can you please aim for somewhere that's not Pinoko's clothes?

[She at least was being practical. It wasn't as if she'd had worse things than vomit on her before, but cleaning puke off of your clothes was never pleasant.]

I can see what I have on me if you are sick. You don't look injured, so that's a plus.

(Alone...?)

Saved by his upset stomach? Cloud doubles over again as another wave of nausea washes over him, forgetting his momentary concern for the kid in front of him. (Or most of it, anyway. He knows enough - or has enough experience feeling like this - not to puke on anybody.) ]

D-Don't talk about it. [ That is the opposite of helpful. But he relents, ] ...I'm not hurt. It's just motion sickness. I've-- Always had it.

Always had it? Don't they have anti-nausea medication where you're from? They have that where I'm from. They even have medicine that helps with motion sickness. You know, in case you have to travel or something.

Pinoko might have something that will help. Let me look.

[That said, she starts looking through her pack, eventually at least finding some anti-nausea medication. She smiles, and offers it to Cloud.]

Here. Take these. They should help. I'd give you more, but this is all I have.

[ Instead of answering again (let alone when she keeps talking - that's fine by him), Cloud just shakes his head. Anti-nausea? No. He's taken a Tranquilizer once or twice, but there's no materia for not throwing up (or if there is, nobody'd give it to a guy like him, anyhow). For the most part, he's always been on his own.

Which may or may not explain him still answering in the negative, when she offers him something that might actually help, ] N-No thanks. I can just... Wait it out.

[ Or maybe he's just a little apprehensive about taking medical advice from. Well. Someone who still looks like a little kid, to him. ]

You know... there's no sense in being miserable if you can change it. There's no sense in "waiting it out" if you can do something to feel better.

[Pinoko was frowning. This man should try to take better care of himself. But... you couldn't make someone accept treatment. And Pinoko sighed softly.]

Oh well. It's not like Pinoko can force the medicine down your throat or dose you like a kitty. Keep the medicine. It might help if you decide to take it.
