[It's barely even morning enough for the artificial sun to be up, and it's already been A Day. First of all, today is Lit. Lit would usually not be a problem, but the further back they go, the worse it gets.
Second of all, they literally haven't moved an inch in the past ten minutes. Rin's about ready to ditch the carpool and just jog the rest of the way -- they'll all be late anyway, but it's better than sitting around breathing each other's air for the next few hours.
That gives us the third problem: there's armored wildlife(?!) attacking the car. It's a little hard to tell the difference between alien and wildlife these days. It's even harder when your driver is trying to make a bad joke about this not being part of the regular commute.
A moment later, the window rolls down just enough for one of the occupants to yell out.]
