[ Things around here are a little more polished and a little more advanced than anything Gene's accustomed to, but he's pretty sure he can make the adjustment. At least they haven't changed gym equipment much in crazy possibly-future space, it looks like! Ordinarily, he'd strip down to trousers and have at, but that probably wouldn't go over well since other people use the equipment, too.

One tank top and a pair of shorts later and he's in among the weight machines. It feels good to get his muscles going again and it takes his mind off the fact that he's by himself.

But that could change. That's a fine-looking gal over there, he decides, though she'd look better in something tighter than sweats. And the scars must have a story.
