Did you want to test your characters? Do you want something that you can use for an RP sample without digging up an old thread? Well, here you have it. Pick one or multiple prompts below or, if you want, make a prompt of your own. Just be sure to tag around so that everyone gets plenty of exposure.

1: Explosions in space! Space Bandits attacked the space colony everyone was visiting! Dozens of fighters and mobile armors fly through space, locked in deadly combat. Are you among those battling to save lives? Or are you watching from the windows, praying everything will be safe?

2: Explosions underground! You were part of a trading party, exchanging supplies with an underground penal colony when alien animals burrowed through the walls and started assaulting convict and Confederation member alike! What are you going to do?

3: Explosions over the city! The Colosseum is shooting off fireworks as part of a concert or a sporting event! Are you watching in the crowd, a main attraction, or watching the bright colors from the city?

4: Explosions on an asteroid! You're either observing, guarding, or mining an asteroid! It's rather dull, save for the explosions that rock the ground under your feet. It looks like it'll continue to be just as slow, but... was that something moving in the shadows there?

5: Explosions on a space station! As you approached a research station, you receive a distress signal! Fire's broken out and their systems aren't up to spec! Can you do anything? Are you a part of a scouting crew or out for a joyride in your new yacht? And is this an accident, or something more sinister?

6: Explosions at the gym! Explosive competition! Swimming, weightlifting, running, boxing, someone has just challenged you! Whether they know it or not, you're going to do your best to show them up.

7: Explosions in the past! A star has died! The Fleet is flying through the nebula it left behind, with swirls of beauty as far as the eye can see. If you're the type, you can watch it all you like.

8: Explosions on the road! Most of the traffic on the Teuberg is computer controlled, but some young showoff took his off the grid and promptly caused a wreck! Traffic has been backed up for almost half an hour now, with no way out for you and the people in your vehicle. Are you close enough to see if anyone needs help? Or are you just stuck with people who are as late for their appointments as you are?

9: Explosions in the marketplace! Explosive bargains! You're in a trading hub, surrounded by stalls of all kinds selling every type of merchandise you can imagine! Luckily, you've got enough money to handle a few purchases here. Will you buy one of those daggers on display? An incense burner? Some alien fruit? Or maybe you're on the run from the corrupt guards? Or perhaps you're the one doing the chasing, did someone just steal your wallet?

10: Explosions in your mind! The explosive inspiration that drives this world! Make up your own prompt!

This planet is not subject to Confederation regulations. So I suggest you get your hand off me, before you live to regret ever putting it there.

[Loki gives Odo a flat stare, it is not as if any cell could contain him anyway but he refuses to have his outing ruined by an overzealous security officer that doesn't know when to take a break from his job.]

Putting his hand on me was offense enough.

[Blood indeed does slowly begin to bubble up to the surface of the other man's skin. The thief lets out a tiny squeak, his hand coming up to grab at Loki's wrist in a panic. Though the move seems to be fruitless as Loki's grip is like iron.]

"Of course, I don't see why not. Especially with the variety of tech coming in from the folks we pick up." He could work on something himself if he was more of an egghead specialized in that sort of stuff.

With a raised brow, Splicer nodded. "Hey, at least they came back right? Better to come back a mess than to not come back at all." Which was fairly common in the bigger battles back in his neck of the universe.

[There's nothing left to do! She musters up all of her own strength to pounce on Loki herself, in an attempt to wrench the knife from his hands. At the same time, she uses her other hand to try and punch Loki in the face and stun him. For fucks sake, all she wanted was to check out some knives...]

[Odo scoffs and starts dragging Loki towards the cells.] Unfortunately, yes it is. [And even if it weren't, there would be contempt towards a security officer in duty. So, cell it is.]

[Loki vanishes into thin air, only to reappear several feet away from Odo, looking at the other man with a raised eyebrow.]

You are in over your head, walk away while you still are able.

"A...prototype."

Ah, he must have meant one of those torso mounted cockpits that were being tested. That would explain the gesturing towards his mech's hip and at least some of the confusion. Still terminally stupid, in her opinion, but somewhat less so.

"Tell me more."

Might as well wring a little info out of him, she thought.

"One octo, still squirting, and half a dairy shelf, you've got it, sir." He said, before dashing off to obey, heading to the next grocer. Naturally he would be using his own personal credits to repair this mistake.

[Loki snarls out as his grip on the man's shoulder tightens, he swings out with his other arm to block her and a bright flashing light goes off in her direction in an attempt to blind her.]

[constableodo]

[Oh, well, he can teleport now? Ha. Odo grabs him again, more strongly this time, and starts dragging him again. Of course, Loki is going to teleport, again, but a changeling's gotta do what a changeling's gotta do. Oh, and threatening a security officer... the charges are piling against you, Loki.]

[It certainly works, and Helen's forced to squeeze her eyes shut and turn her head away as she stumbles backwards clumsily. It doesn't stop her from clenching her fist and wildly throwing another punch though. Her punching arm stretches, lashing out blindly, and she doesn't even know if she'll hit him but...it's worth a try!]

No way in hell!

[Actually the moment Odo grabs for him, the figure vanishes into a poof of green smoke. And several more copies of Loki appear. Are any of them the real one? They all simply start laughing and speak in unison.]

A foolish endeavor.

[Her punch does land, just not on Loki. It connects with the thief's jaw instead, who lets out a grunt as Loki laughs.]

Some hero, assaulting the one you intend to save.

[Though he takes advantage of the fact that she can't see properly and quickly stabs the other man in the gut. The other man chokes out a gasp as Loki pulls the bloodied blade free.]

He's all yours!

[Quickly he throws the bleeding man's body at Helen and turns to make a hasty exit before the real authorities arrive.]

[Odo sighs and roll his eyes, before gesturing for security guards to take all of them. He himself grabs the closest one and starts pushing him to the cells.]

[You can't arrest illusions Odo and Loki has long sense left. Have a nice day, security officer, Odo.]

[constableodo]

[Odo sighs again. He would have to find Loki again and find a way to get him for good.]

[Certainly this is the start of a beautiful cat and mouse game. Loki looks forward to playing again.]

[Ha. Search warrant, using the ship's internal sensors, oh, right, Odo has plenty of time to play those games. For now, he'll arrest the seller of the weapons and seize the shop.]

"And I've got a sword!"

She grins at him, apparently not understand that people with guns kind of have a huge advantage over people with swords. To her, this all fun and games. Fighting isn't fun if there isn't risk and a challenge involved. It's much too dull otherwise. Fighting makes Helen feel alive, and the more risk, the better.

She leaps behind a tall rock and peaks over it to catch a glimpse of yet another enemy. Quickly, she ducks her head just as the gunman's bullet clips the rock, and shards of red earth fly everywhere.

"Don't look so frustrated! This's fun!"

"As if that were possible." Loki snickered, completely unmoved by her threatening display. It would take a lot more than that to scare him into silence. Especially when he was so amused by her reactions to the fireworks.

"Perhaps it is you, that should not ruin your day by embarrassing yourself." He added, a hint of cockiness to his tone. Her entire demeanor reminding him of the Lady Sif, anytime someone would even dare to look in her general direction.

The bastard sure did seem amused, and even her threatening to punch him did nothing to phase him. It would have scared off anyone else, but not this guy. This guy just continued to snicker, and made himself sound as cocky as hell, which only served to rustle her feathers and boil her blood even more.

"Oh go fuck yourself." She hissed darkly, giving him a glare that could kill. If he wasn't careful, she would try and wipe that stupid smirk of his face. It was tempting enough to do it right there and then, but she held back for the time being.

"I'm not the only one who has no clue what that sky fire is."

"Such crass language, it's unbecoming of a lady." He said with another snicker. Lady warriors were so easily ruffled with mere words. Despite the fact they had never met, teasing her felt as close to home that he would ever get now.

"They are fireworks, my dear lady." He told her, his tone very much condescending.

"I'm not your lady." She snarled back at him, hating how condescending he sounded, like he was looking down on her for not knowing what fucking fireworks were. This guy was pissing her off more and more, the longer she looked at him. He was so cocky and she hated that he wasn't phased by her at all.

[Quark, you don't want to know what Stein's considering doing to your face. It involves knives and blood and microscope slides.]

You're charging money for something that you don't own, and you lied to me. That seems... foolish.

It's a good thing he's good at thinking on his feet, er, foot, as the car suddenly bursts into another Cybertronian. Right. Right. So she's got one foot. He's got two, so he'll let her grab that one, and use his other in a kick at her stupid face.
